The Rams are facing some of the biggest challenges these days after losing to 27-17 to the Arizona Cardinals Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately- the Rams head coach Sean McVay can’t seem to put his finger on the losing streak.
“I don’t know exactly what those answers are, Mcvay said. It’s not one fix.”
Luckily for the Rams, there is still a good chance of making a push for the playoffs. The only thing that is extremely worrisome, is the news that was released today. Cooper Kupp is having surgery on his ankle and will be out for at least four weeks.
Kupp has proven he’s that guy and can catch anything that comes his way - so this is a huge loss for the Rams offense. Although Kupp is immaculate on the field, when one players goes down the next jersey is called.
And that jersey is none other than Van Jefferson. He will be given an opportunity to showcase his wide receiver skills.
Without Kupp, the Rams will need to find another weapon to sharpen in the end zone and we will soon be informed if Jefferson has enough power to contribute to the offense.
With hopes of playing football when it really matters (during the playoffs) the rams will need a new leader to score points on the field to keep those hopes alive.
Let's hope Jefferson is ready for the pressure that has been applied.
